Production process of grinding wheel
The main reasons for grinding wheel unbalance are the uneven size of grinding wheel, uneven density of each part of grinding wheel and the installation of partial core. The uneven grinding wheel will vibrate at high speed, which will affect the grinding quality.
Method for adjusting static balance:
Find the lowest point of the center of gravity of the wheel. A.
Make a mark on the corresponding point on the same diameter at A. B.
Add the balance block C to keep the positions of A and B at two points unchanged.
Then add the balance block D, E, and still make the location of A and B unchanged. If there is any change, you can move up and down D and E. Restore A and B to the original position. At this point, the wheel has been balance about.
Turn the wheel 90 degrees. If unbalanced, move both D and E to A or B points until A and B are balanced at two points. This adjustment stabilizes the grinding wheel in any direction. The grinding wheel is balanced.
Considerations for adjusting balance
The balance should be level, especially vertical.
The grinding wheel should be fastened, the flange block, the balance block should be cleaned.
Wheel flange inner taper hole and a core shaft to balance with the close shaft should not be bent.
After the grinding wheel is balanced, the balance block must be fastened.
